Radio is a powerful tool for bringing folks together. The team that worked on this project is a testament to the enduring power of the airwaves. We must first thank our oral history participants, Eduardo Archuleta, Rita Gonzales, Louis Jacinto, and Roland Palencia, for entrusting us their stories. Deep gratitude for our “LIVE on Radio” program guests, Luis Alfaro, Irene Martínez, and Lydia Otero, for an evening of joyful recollection and community storytelling that highlighted the historic contributions of a generation of LGBTQ+ Latinx organizers.

Special thanks to current and former team members Tony Valenzuela, Chiedu Egbuniwe, Jennifer C. Gregg, and Jaime Shearn Coan for all of their support and leadership. Finally, thanks to Loni Shibuyama from ONE Archives at the USC Libraries for her archival research support; to Alejandro Cohen from dublab for his radio expertise; to Steve Wong from Vincent Price Art Museum for his advise; and to Clara Philbrick for their gallery preparation support.

This project is organized by One Institute and made possible with support from the City of West Hollywood, the Los Angeles County Department of Arts & Culture, and our media sponsor, dublab.
